Final Project ( Charity Drive)

For this final project, in this module, we were ought to have our own mini business booth at the campus as it will be our charity drive. All of the profit that we earned will be donated fully to any organization that we collaborated. This event was held during the end of week 15 and ended during on week 16. Hence we teamed up along with Kah Yee, Jane, Iman, Abigail, Aisah, Riyya,Natasya and Najmi which is from the school of Architecture. We planned and started this event on the 19th of May till 26 of May.  

Our members discussed and talked about what type of  business we will sell and we all agreed to start our business by serving people where we sell mainly food and beverages. During the first day, we sold fruit sticks, ice pops , drinks and also Henna where Riyya will handle it. Unfortunately, we are unable to pull this idea off due to the lack of students in campus and the lack of advertisement. Hence, Jane walked alone in the campus to ask for donation to back up our plan. Also, we did not set up our business as we knew that we will not earn much profit but loss due to the little amount students that are having their mid term break. Hence, we once again asked for donation but started to sell again the next Monday. The business was rather unsatisfied despite the comeback of degree students and the main food that we sold is pudding that are in the shape of a pair of boobies. 

Then, we figured out another way again, trying to be positive and we decided to order local Malaysian ' kuih ' recommended from Natasya. The reason we sold this is because it is rare in this campus and it will be a good snack to dig in during tea time. Moreover, we don't have to spend a lot of time and effort to make food again where it is a waste of time for us for the past few days. We ordered and sold it and surpassingly we managed to sell everything of! It was a good deal for us as many people asked for more. Then we sold the same thing again , the ' kuihs' , ice pops and also henna for three consecutive days. After all of the hectic, we managed to get it done and also learned so many things that business isn't what it seems. It was rather hard and unmanageable if one is a person that easily give up. 

In conclusion, I will like to thanks Muss Fu with the bottom of my heart for guiding us along the way till the end if this module. I really do hope we could do this module again. Here are the photos of the process in the making of this project and please do enjoy! :)

Project 1

Well, our first project for this module is to discuss our group members together to form a business plan. Well, I teamed up with Iman, Abigail, Kah Yee and Jane for this project and we discussed to come out with a coffee art business. In this business, our company sells coffee and many more like the other coffee shops but instead of just a normal coffee shop, our cafe also have art exhibition from different artist in the world where customers can take their time appreciate the art and also buy it. Tutorial Activities

Throughout the module of Introduction to Business, my classmates and I managed to have tutorial activities every week to reflect from what we have learnt from lecture. It was rather fun because we discussed each other from the given questions. Here are some of the selected photos I've taken from the past. Enjoy! :)

Most of these questions and answers are done by me, Iman, Abigail, Jane and also Kah Yee. All in all, I do really learnt a lot of new theories that exist in the world of business which somehow I fell is important for most of us. I learned to managed to apply these theories to myself more in terms of financially in my daily life. Moreover, with the help of these activities and not to mentioned, Miss Tay, I am able to sit and answer the business test that had been conducted few weeks ago!

Introduction to Business!

Hello everyone and welcome to my business's blog !I',m Jason and I'm from the school of Design. Currently in semester two now and will end soon in just a few weeks time!  Here, I'll post mostly about my tutorials activity, reflections on what I have learnt from and repost of my previous assignments from this module, Introduction to Business. Not to mention, credits to Miss Tay, who taught and guide us throughout this module despite our ' uncivilised ' attitudes and whatnot.
